American Eagle to Discontinue Chicago Service January 31, 2012.

American Eagle has announced it will cancel service between TRI and Chicago O’Hare due to fleet restructuring, bankruptcy reorganization and low revenue. Passengers currently holding tickets for flights after January 30 will be contacted and re-booked by AA.  Read more...

TRI Awarded Small Community Air Service Development Grant

Tri-Cities Regional Airport is one of 29 small airports across the U.S. to be awarded a Small Community Air Service Development (SCASD) grant from the US Department of Transportation. The $250,000 grant will be used to entice an air carrier to provide service to a new destination.   Read more...
